String Tree Activity

The perfect activity for an inside day!

This activity is great because it keeps your kid's focus and is visually stimulating while also allowing them to express their creativity. This activity can be repeated over and over again because they'll design something new every time!

If you aren't an artist, I've included a printable tree that you can use to glue over. Just scroll to the end of the directions to get it! 😊

What You'll Need:

  • Paper

  • Glue

  • String

  • Mini Craft Pom Poms

  • Buttons

  • Markers

Directions

  1. Use the clue to make the shape of a tree on a piece of paper. (You can also draw out the shape of the tree first and trace it over with glue.)

  2. Lay string over the glue and press gently to make sure it sticks.

  3. Start placing the pom poms and buttons, gluing them inside the tree shape.

  4. If there is space left you can go in and make designs or color in spots with your markers.

Voilà! Now you have a cute tree decorated by your little one!
